Places to go

The Oslofjord region includes the capital city and its metropolitan area, as well as some further-flung towns and cities.

Here, nature trails and city life are both never more than a stone’s throw away, and the area is overflowing with unmissable sights, cultural heritage, good food, interesting museums, unique architecture and great outdoors.

The distances between the highlights in the Oslofjord region are short. Most of the natural gems and attractions are within a maximum 2-hour drive, no matter where you might be located by the Oslofjord.

    Arøyene and Stokkøya

    This fantastic archipelago in the Langesundfjord is perfect for day trips and island hopping. The ferry "Skjæløy" easily transports you out to the archipelago - either from Helgeroa or Langesund.

    Åsgårdstrand
